Nestled in the heart of Orange County on the west side of John Wayne Airport, our 30,000 square foot hangar features a pristine collection of historic aircraft and classic vehicles from World War II era. These exhibits are true pieces of living history and provide a wealth of knowledge that fascinates and inspires visitors of all ages.
Our facility is a unique event venue that provides an ideal setting for galas, corporate events, memorial service, anniversaries, birthdays, holiday parties, fashion shows, and wedding receptions. The stunning backdrop of John Wayne Airport’s runway is quite a treat for guests as they dine, dance, and socialize among the wings of vintage aircraft. The pristinely kept exhibits throughtout our breathtaking banquet hall create an ambience that is sure to make your next event the talk of the town.

AvailabilityLyon Air Museum is available to organizations, businesses and/or individuals. Availability of the museum is contingent on museum’s own schedule of events and activities. Please consult with Lyon Air Museum personnel for rental availability. |
Rental FeesThe facility rental base price is $7,650. An additional $1,000 damage deposit is required. Valet, catering, and rental fees are additional. |
ParkingParking space is limited. Dependent upon number of guests, off-site parking and a pre-approved valet service for the event may be required. |
