In our time managing a banquet hall in Orange County, we've learned that event planning can be a very challenging responsibility. More often than not, the success (or lack thereof) of an event heavily depends on a well thought out budget. We've seen a lot of corporate events, high end birthday parties and wedding receptions come through our event venue, and we've seen a lot of fantastic events put on with conservative budgets.
Here are our tips for organizing a budget for your Orange County event:
Lyon Air Museum is the perfect venue to host an airline theme event complete with pilot and stewardess servers, boarding pass invites, and suitcase props! Send out boarding pass invites. Setup a "bag check" table for when guests arrive and register. Choose from our preferred catering list for servers dressed in airline service attire (photo: The Turnip Rose servers). Additionally servers can push food and beverage carts around for guests to order snacks and drinks during cocktail hour. Create a fun centerpiece like flower stuffed suitcases.
